Luxury Gorilla Fly-In (4 Days)

  • 3 Nights at Gorilla Forest Camp

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is the natural habitat for just over half the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas. The gorillas you will track belong one of two ‘habituated’ family groups, the Mubare Group or the Habinyanja Group, with only 6 visitors a day allowed to visit each group. Spend anywhere from as little as half an hour to as much as nine hours in search of these elusive beasts over the rough forest terrain. Once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them, observing their behavior and interaction with each other, and possibly yourself.

Spend your nights at Gorilla Forest Camp; a luxury-tented camp perched on the side of a mountain in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. With just eight double en-suite tents, each with its own spacious wooden deck, guests can relax or have private meal. The Gorilla Forest Camp offers a bar and dining cottage overlooking the rain forest, as well as a raised natural platform for open air dining. Guests can sit around the cozy campfire at night and enjoy Bwindi’s crystal clear mountain sky.
